Mr. Andy Jackson

Mr. Jackson proudly joins Wakelight Technologies Inc., as its first Chief Operating Officer with over thirty-two years of operational, program and project management leadership experience throughout the Department of Defense and private industry. Following a short Navy career as a Supply Officer, Mr. Jackson worked for various defense contracting and small business concerns in San Diego, CA and Honolulu HI. Entering Government Service at COMPACFLT in 1996, Mr. Jackson was responsible for the oversight of the Information Technology implementation, policy, procurement, and guidance for shore activities in the Pacific Fleet Area of Responsibility.

Following a successful career culminating as a GS-14 at COMPACFLT, Mr. Jackson assumed the role as the Regional Manager for EDS, responsible for transition and delivery of over 10,000 NMCI seats to Navy activities in Hawaii. Mr. Jackson continued his professional career as the Chief Operating Officer, CTA, Inc., Honolulu, HI, responsible for the operation and execution of four business units: computer training, software development, network engineering, and staffing.

In October 2005, Mr. Jackson left the islands for Yokosuka, Japan to assume the role as the CSC Director, OCONUS Information Technology Operations, managing a workforce of technical CSC and subcontractor personnel in the Far East, Bahrain and Europe. In March 2010, he was promoted to lead the CSC Virginia Beach Operations, leaving behind the Land of the Rising Sun.

Mr. Jackson later joined CGI Federal as a Vice President, leading the Sector responsible for Joint IT Operations, working out of their Virginia Beach location. His tenure at CGI Federal ended after leading the successful capture of the largest full IT outsourcing deal within CGI Federal and a move to Rancho Cordova, CA to manage the complex Aerospace and Defense opportunity.

With his return to the islands in October 2018, Mr. Jackson joins the Wakelight Leadership team, poised to drive strong profitable growth for years to come.
